Facial features studies and Practice illustration

I have spent about a week doing studies on facial features, a bit of lighting and color use and human anatomy and posing, and these pieces are a showcase of 2 of the studies and the final piece I illustrated trying to apply what I've learnt.
In my opinion, the result speaks for itself. Us artists always need to be on the lookout for lacks in knowledge, inspiration or motivation, and as I realized I lacked technical knowledge I went on to address it.
