Self-portrait Study

As I drifted away from portraits these last months, I had the chance to learn so many useful techniques from referencing other artists.
Seeing my improvements in that time, I decided it was time to put these techniques to the test and try doing a quick-ish self-portrait. Now, of course what started as a simple sketch I ended up deciding to extend and polish more, resulting in a more refined piece than I originally expected.
